Quiz answers and signed links

We keep no quiz answers in a database on our servers. Your browser keeps a local copy. With your consent, our server processes your answers to create a signed link containing the 12 responses, trigger, creation time and expiry. Links expire 30 days after the first quiz. Opening an invite or completing a pair does not extend that expiry.

Signed links prevent changes but are not encrypted. Anyone with a link can decode its answers. Keep links private; they may remain in browser history, email, or service logs after expiry. Expiry stops our app accepting the link; it does not erase copies.

Consent and partner invitations

Each partner must answer for themselves. We send invitations via Resend. Partner 2 must open their invite, explicitly tick consent and submit their own answers before we issue a signed pair link and generate a comparison. We cannot verify the identity of the person using a shared link.

Clearing your data

Clear this browser's quiz data and delete saved links and emails you no longer want. We have no stored answer record to delete and cannot revoke individual links or copies held by someone else. Emails, recipient addresses and invite links may remain in Resend logs. Contact [email protected] about email or purchase records.

Visit counts

We count visits per page per day, quiz completions, and clicks on the buy button using our privacy-preserving beacon (beacon.moneyyoureowed.com). Each count uses a one-way daily hash made from the date, your IP address, and your browser user-agent so we can count unique daily visitors without cookies. We do not store raw IP addresses with these counts. If you arrive from a link with a source tag (such as ?src=), we count the tag too.

Payments & lost-report recovery

Stripe handles checkout for the $29 report. Stripe gives us your name, checkout email, amount paid, the source tag, and the signed answer token on the order so we can verify your paid session, handle refunds, and keep legally required accounting records. Stripe stores the signed token as the checkout reference so we can recover your report on another device. These records can outlast the token’s 30-day validity. We never see your full card number. If you use Find my report or "Email me this link," we look up matching paid sessions in Stripe and send the report link to the checkout email via Resend (from [email protected]).

How the paid report is built

Your paid report is a structured report built by fixed rules and templates from your 1–5 item scores, four facet percentages and chosen trigger category (plus Partner 2’s scores, only if Partner 2 has explicitly consented). No language model is used, and your name and email address are not part of the report inputs.

You can clear your browser quiz data at /delete, or ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of any purchase record by emailing [email protected].
